History
Founded in 1972 in Jacksonville, FL, General Sign quickly became a trusted provider of high-quality signage for Northeast Florida. Over time, the company expanded from a locally known shop to a regional presence, maintaining its commitment to quality through ownership transitions.
In 1999, Randall Ginzig brought new leadership and vision to General Sign. Leveraging his experience as a C-level executive and General Contractor, Randall strengthened existing relationships and fostered new ones, driving the company’s growth. In 2001, General Sign acquired Beach Neon and Sign, a respected manufacturer of channel letters, significantly enhancing the company’s capabilities.

Design
Unlike other companies who farm out their manufacturing and design orders, General Sign does it all locally with American produced materials. We work with the most recent sign software to create signs that meet your advertising needs.
Manufacture
We complete each project with high quality automotive grade finishes to insure that once a sign is installed it will continue to be a source of pride, both for you and for us, for years to come.
Installation
Not only do we install what we build but we also install signs for companies that do not have the capabilities to install their own work or are out of town manufacturers.
Service
As your first source of advertisement, your signs need to be working tip-top shape. Whether you have some fluorescent bulbs out in your cabinet sign, or need neon repumped in your channel letters we have the equipment on hand to fix your sign problems.
